Where Industrial Process Water Tanks Are Used
- Cooling tower make-up and bleed-off
- Process supply water for manufacturing operations
- Wash-down and dust suppression water
- Boiler feed water (raw, before treatment)
- Construction water and concrete-mixing supply
- Mining and quarrying operations
Why Zincalume Bolted Tanks Win for Process Water
- Cost-effective from 10 KL to 30,000+ KL — economical across the full industrial range
- Fast site assembly — up to 100 KL erected in just 3 to 4 days
- Self-healing Zn-Al-Mg alloy coating resists corrosion even in coastal and humid sites
- Engineered for 40+ year service life, far beyond typical industrial equipment cycles
- Bolted construction allows the tank to be dismantled, relocated, or expanded as the plant grows
- Designed to Australian Standard AS 2304-2011 with full quality control documentation
A Practical Specification Note
For general process water duty, the standard reinforced inner liner is appropriate. For warmer climates, consider tank insulation if the water needs to stay cool. For extended outdoor exposure in coastal regions, the Zincalume alloy delivers superior long-term performance to ordinary galvanised steel by a factor of 4 to 6 times in accelerated salt-spray testing.
Standards and Build Quality
- Tank design and manufacture to AS 2304-2011 and AS/NZS standards
- Zn-Al-Mg alloy coated steel panels with proven 4-6x corrosion resistance over galvanised
- Multi-layered reinforced inner liner appropriate to water chemistry
- Ring beam foundation engineered to site-specific soil conditions
- Full material traceability and QA documentation supplied with every order
